December 31, 2010

I am at my in-law's in Richfield, Wisconsin. Been eating all week. With friends. With family. With very little activity. Not good. Still, I see it as the "dark before the dawn." Tonight is New Year's Eve. And tomorrow, we venture home to Ohio. But it is a bigger day for me. I am determined to make this "my year." To regain my energy, my health, and my self-respect. Still, I know that taking on too much too quickly is also a recipe for failure. So, starting tomorrow, I am making several "changes." They may seem small to others. But they will be significant to me.
1. No more butter
2. No more coffee
3. No more soda
4. No more fast food

Again, the goal: October 16, 2011, the Nationwide Half-Marathon!
